What SPREVA checks before it publishes

Every post is checked against these limits for each Pinterest account you picked, in the editor and again right before it goes out, so a problem shows up while you can still fix it.

How connecting works

You sign in with Pinterest and approve SPREVA. Your boards are read from the account, so you pick one from a list instead of typing its name.

Access renews on its own, and a week before Pinterest's renewal runs out SPREVA reminds you to reconnect.

What SPREVA adds

  • The right board, checked

    Every Pin needs a board. SPREVA lists yours and checks again at publishing time that the board still exists.

  • Title, link and alt text

    Give each Pin a title, a destination link and a description for people using a screen reader.

  • The cover frame

    Choose the second of a video that becomes the Pin's cover.

And as on every network: its own text for any account, an approximate preview, publishing now, on a date or through a queue, a retry for only the accounts that failed, and each post's numbers read back into Analytics.

Can I schedule Pins to different boards?

Yes. Pick the board for each Pinterest account in the post, so each account can save to a different board.

How many images can a Pinterest carousel have?

From 2 to 5. SPREVA checks the count before it publishes.

Can I add a link to a scheduled Pin?

Yes. The post's link becomes the Pin's destination. It has to be a full web address starting with http or https.
