Write the article as Markdown, add tags, a series and a canonical link if it needs one, and publish now, on a date or through a queue. SPREVA checks it against DEV Community's limits before it goes out.

Every post is checked against these limits for each DEV Community account you picked, in the editor and again right before it goes out, so a problem shows up while you can still fix it.

How connecting works
Create an API key on DEV Community, under Settings, Extensions, and paste it in. There is no sign-in step: the key identifies you directly.
SPREVA never sees a password, and the key does not expire on its own. Revoke it from that same settings page, then remove the connection here.
What SPREVA adds
No double posts after a timeout
If DEV Community's answer gets lost on the way back, SPREVA looks through your own articles for the one it just made before trying again, so a retry does not publish it twice.
Published, or saved as a draft
Turn publishing off and the article is saved as a draft only you can see on DEV Community, until you finish and publish it there yourself.
Tags DEV Community accepts
Up to 4 tags, 30 characters each, lowercase letters and numbers only. Anything else is adjusted automatically, so what SPREVA sends always matches what DEV Community allows.
A series, a description, a canonical link
Group the article with others in the same series, add the short description shown in the feed, and link to the original when this was published elsewhere first.
And as on every network: its own text for any account, an approximate preview, publishing now, on a date or through a queue, a retry for only the accounts that failed, and each post's numbers read back into Analytics.
Questions about DEV Community
Can I schedule DEV Community posts?
Yes. Publish now, choose a date and time, or add the article to a queue; SPREVA publishes it from its own servers, so nothing has to stay open on your side.
Can I add images to a DEV Community post?
Not through SPREVA. A DEV Community article is Markdown text with no attached media here; add an image by linking to it inside the article the way DEV Community's Markdown expects.
Can I publish to a DEV Community organization?
Yes, once you have posted to it at least once from DEV Community itself; after that, SPREVA finds it and lists it as an account you can choose.
What happens if I reuse a canonical link on DEV Community?
DEV Community keeps a canonical link unique across your own posts, so reusing one from an earlier article is rejected; give the new post its own.
