Manage your social media from Claude Code
Claude Code is where a lot of work already happens. With SPREVA added as a remote MCP server, it writes and schedules the week's posts, builds a video from your media and reports on the results without leaving the terminal.
The short answer
Add SPREVA as a remote MCP server with one command, sign in once, and Claude Code can use SPREVA's 23 tools in every project: drafts, scheduling, publishing, the media library, queues, analytics and, on Pro and Business, the Studio's video tools.
What it can do in SPREVA
- Write one post for several accounts, with its own version for each network, and schedule it or put it in a queue.
- Announce a release on X, LinkedIn, Bluesky and Mastodon from the repository you are working in.
- Find your photos and videos by what they show, and import new ones from a link.
- Turn photos into a narrated vertical video, cut clips from a long one and change any scene by name, on Pro and Business.
- Turn a changelog or a README into a post for each network, and schedule it.
- Tell you how last week's posts did, per network and per account.
Prompts to try
Read CHANGELOG.md, write a post about version 2.4 for X, LinkedIn and Bluesky, and schedule it for tomorrow at 10.
Make a 30 second vertical video from the screenshots in the Launch folder of my SPREVA library, with captions, and export it.
Which of last month's posts did best on LinkedIn, and when were they published?
Good to know
- It needs a Claude plan that includes Claude Code, or an Anthropic API key.
- Signed in with a Claude subscription, the connectors you added on claude.ai show up in Claude Code by themselves.
- For scripts and automation, use an API key in a header instead of signing in. A rejected key is reported as a failure: Claude Code does not fall back to signing in.
Set it up
- 1
Add SPREVA as a remote server.
--scope usermakes it available in every project:Terminal claude mcp add --transport http --scope user \ spreva https://app.spreva.ai/api/mcp - 2
Start Claude Code, run
/mcp, choose spreva and sign in. Your browser opens SPREVA. - 3
Choose the workspace and click Allow. Back in Claude Code, spreva shows as connected.
The API key, the Agent Skill and the local bridge are on Claude Code's setup page.
Questions
Can Claude Code post to Instagram?
Yes, through SPREVA: feed posts, carousels, Reels and Stories on a professional Instagram account. Instagram lets apps publish only to professional accounts, whatever the tool.
Can Claude Code post to TikTok and YouTube?
Yes. SPREVA publishes to TikTok, YouTube and 31 networks in all, each in its own format, and Claude Code can post to any account connected to your workspace.
Will Claude Code publish without asking me?
Not unless you let it. Publishing right away and spending AI credits ask you first unless you change it in SPREVA under Settings, then Agents. Scheduling at least an hour ahead goes ahead, unless you set that to ask too.
Which SPREVA plan do I need?
Every plan includes MCP, so Claude Code can draft, schedule, publish and report on any of them. Making videos needs Pro or Business. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial.
