Write a title and text, add a link or an image, and pick the community, local or on another instance. SPREVA publishes it now, on a date or through a queue.

What SPREVA checks before it publishes
Every post is checked against these limits for each Lemmy account you picked, in the editor and again right before it goes out, so a problem shows up while you can still fix it.

How connecting works
Type the instance your account is on, then your username or email and password, and a two-factor code too if your account uses one. SPREVA signs in once to create the connection and does not store your password.
Communities you already follow show up as suggestions when you write a post, but you can post to any public community by name, whether it lives on your own instance or, as name@instance, federates in from another.
What SPREVA adds
Any community, any instance
Type the community to post to: a name on your own instance, or name@instance for one that federates in from elsewhere. Communities you follow are offered as suggestions, but nothing here limits you to them.
No double posts after a timeout
If Lemmy's answer gets lost on the way back, SPREVA looks at the community's newest posts for the one it just made before trying again, so a retry does not publish it twice.
A link or an image, not both
Add a link or one image to a post, not both: Lemmy posts carry one or the other, and SPREVA uses the image when a post has both.
Alt text from your library
The description saved on an image in Media goes out with it, so people using a screen reader hear what it shows.
And as on every network: its own text for any account, an approximate preview, publishing now, on a date or through a queue, a retry for only the accounts that failed, and each post's numbers read back into Analytics.

Can I schedule Lemmy posts?
Yes. Publish now, choose a date and time, or add the post to a queue that fills your next free slot, with the title, text, link or image you set for it.
Does SPREVA work with any Lemmy instance?
Yes. You connect with the instance your account is on, and from there post to any public community, whether or not it lives on that same instance.
Can I post to a community on a different instance?
Yes. Type it as name@instance, such as chairs@lemmy.world, and SPREVA finds it through your own instance.
Can I add alt text to a Lemmy image?
Yes. The description saved on the image in your library is sent with it as alt text, so it never has to be typed twice.
