Post to Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn from ChatGPT
ChatGPT cannot reach your social accounts by itself. Connected to SPREVA, it writes the post, makes the video, schedules it on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and the rest, and tells you how it did, while SPREVA keeps the access and asks you before anything goes out right away.
The short answer
Yes: once it is connected to SPREVA through developer mode, on the web, ChatGPT can post to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and 31 networks in all. You ask in the chat, ChatGPT uses SPREVA's tools to draft, schedule, publish and report, and SPREVA checks each network's rules and keeps your accounts' access to itself.
What it can do in SPREVA
- Write one post for several accounts, with its own version for each network, and schedule it or put it in a queue.
- Publish right away, after showing you exactly what will go out.
- Find your photos and videos by what they show, and import new ones from a link.
- Turn photos into a narrated vertical video, cut clips from a long one and change any scene by name, on Pro and Business.
- Make an image from a description, and write alt text from the picture.
- Tell you how last week's posts did, per network and per account.
Prompts to try
Schedule the cardamom buns poster on Instagram, Facebook and Threads for Saturday at 9, with a shorter caption on Threads.
Make a 20 second vertical video from today's photos of the shop, with a warm voice and captions, and show me the first cut.
Which of last month's Instagram posts did best, and what did they have in common?
Good to know
- It needs a ChatGPT plan with developer mode: Pro, Plus, Business, Enterprise or Edu. On Business, Enterprise and Edu, an admin turns developer mode on for the workspace.
- Developer mode apps are set up and used in ChatGPT on the web, at chatgpt.com.
- ChatGPT asks you to confirm each change SPREVA would make, and SPREVA still asks before anything public or costly, as your workspace decides.
Set it up
- 1
Copy the SPREVA connector address:
URL https://app.spreva.ai/api/mcp - 2
In ChatGPT on the web, turn on Developer mode under Settings, then Security and login. Create an app named SPREVA with that address and choose OAuth.
- 3
Sign in to SPREVA, choose the workspace and click Allow. In a new chat, add SPREVA from the + menu, under Developer mode.
Every step, and what to do when something does not show up, is on ChatGPT's setup page.
Questions
Can ChatGPT post to Instagram?
Yes, through SPREVA: feed posts, carousels, Reels and Stories on a professional Instagram account. Instagram lets apps publish only to professional accounts, whatever the tool.
Can ChatGPT post to TikTok and YouTube?
Yes. SPREVA publishes to TikTok, YouTube and 31 networks in all, each in its own format, and ChatGPT can post to any account connected to your workspace.
Will ChatGPT publish without asking me?
Not unless you let it. Publishing right away and spending AI credits ask you first unless you change it in SPREVA under Settings, then Agents. Scheduling at least an hour ahead goes ahead, unless you set that to ask too.
Which SPREVA plan do I need?
Every plan includes MCP, so ChatGPT can draft, schedule, publish and report on any of them. Making videos needs Pro or Business. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial.
